Andreas Branch is a native of Ettrick, VA. He received a B.A. in Photojournalism from Norfolk State University in 1997. Since then his work has appeared in publications such as SPIN, VIBE, 7x7, San Francisco Magazine and the Philadelphia City Paper.

While living in Philly, a chance meeting led to working with the many talents of the now defunct "BlackLily Series". That chance meeting led to doing assignments for MCA Records and Axis Music Group among others. "Incidentally, I ended up working with a phenomenal group of musicians and recording artist who helped me to achieve dreams I never thought possible, " he says.

Since then Andreas has covered assignments ranging from OZZFEST to Amnesty International. More recently, his fine art works have been exhibited at the Joyce Gordon Gallery and the Linen Life Gallery in the Bay Area.)

About his work..."Each photograph I take is an attempt to push myself one step further than the last. My work tends to be raw, yet captures the essence and beauty of my subjects. It is my attempt to connect the viewer to the place where art and reality meet."

Andreas lives in Hollywood, California where he continues to apply his vision to clients in the entertainment industry and advertising clients. Andreas plans to spend more time working on various personal projects that will reflect a significant return to his roots in photojournalism and art photography.
